Bring back the background image on the cards!

After the 2.0 release the lovely background image disappeared to be replaced by a small icon-like equivalent. The background image used to appear after uploading/pasting an image to the card.
Can we please bring it back, or provide an option for background or icon?

I also like the background image.
I'd love it if a card created without an image could get an auto-generated one. It would make the card much more visually distinct. Even abstract images would work as visual cues. For example, if the card's tag were used as the key, all images under that tag could share a similar visual style or color. That way, cards with the same tag would look cohesive, while standing out from cards with different tags when viewed together on the home screen.
