I'm new to Recall:
I experimented with this idea earlier today, while I was trying to figure out how to chat with just a portion of my knowledge base. I went through and linked a series of cards (that was hit and miss, as I couldn't find clear documentation on how to do that). Once the linking was established, I
  • sought out a piece of unique information on one of the linked cards
  • selected a different card in the linked set, and went to chat
  • asked AI about that particular selected item through chat
Expected behavior: That AI would find the reference to the item within the set of linked cards.
Actual behavior: AI told me it could not find any reference to the term or phrase that I had requested.
I eventually found that I could chat with that group of cards by using the chat button on the far left of the screen. But, then I'm forced to scroll through and select those particular cards, where just chatting with my linked card set would have presented less friction. And, the cards would remain linked for possible future chat sessions.
Thanks for what appears to be a rather amazing application.
