Import images and screenshots to notebook

Adding images to the text content will aid in the understanding of summaries
It would be very useful to have a way to import images from the web content or take screenshot and import it directly to the notebook

A picture conveys thousand words, bring in screenshot functionality

A pictue converys thousand words. While watching youtube video or visiting website, sometimes one need to take a screenshot and bring in to your knowledge base for later reference. It would be good to have a one click functionality of taking screenshot and bringing in to the knowledge card.

Have the ability to import screenshots with images could be diagram etc and some text

Yes, but this only makes sense if the images are also interpreted from a content perspective and from a text perspective. Otherwise, it just serves as an icon of a card, but the content itself from the image doesn't help any of the research or the brain or the AI chat.

schroell once image is in the getrecall, there should be an option to drag and place at a place of choice in the notebook. This will aid in understanding the summary

@mfaisalk - I currently just copy/paste images into the spot I want them located in the Notebook text, which works for me. Could you describe further your import use case/s?

Pete Bell, this workaround works. But a more smoother workflow with the ability to send it directly to the recall will help.

Pete Bell, in my workflow, i would like to send images to the getrecall, then place them at a place of my choice in the notebook manually.

Not entirely so the use case is as follows reading something on an ebook or surfing and then importing only that as notes via screenshot. Could be a simple OCR. Adding images directly to notes makes it lose the context connection and ability to interact with it.

You can also create a blank note / in your notebook add images into there - would that work for your use case?

Thank you for sharing! Something we can look into.

Yes, this is a very important feature request.
Current workaround I guess is to create PDFs out of screenshots.
