emilsee would it make sense to merge this under shared workspaces, where you can then have different spaces that you can add recall cards to some of what you share? https://feedback.getrecall.ai/feature-requests/p/shared-workspaces-for-recall

Sankari Nair What is a shared workspace? I have the feeling that the whole tagging will be crwowed and overwhelming over time.

emilsee just think about it as a separate folder / space that will have recall cards saved in it. We really don't want tagging to be overwhelming; it would defeat the purpose. You can have a look at that link for more details.

Sankari Nair I think the workspace idea is good. Having personal and professional as a default start. And maybe have the freedom to create other Individual workspaces for myself.

Sankari Nair I just thought about it why projects could be helpful - having a summary project card would be nice. So I collect knowledge over time and then I can create or query all knowledge to create a top level card with summarize information. Prompt: Create a practical playbook from all sources I have in this project. Background: I want to create a faceless social media channel and monetize it and I collected YT videos, podcasts and so on.

Actually I prefer the ability to edit EXISTING tags. If I wanted to add a tag to an existing nested tag I would have to manually type it out.

I also think tags are completely sufficient to replace project folders for organizational purposes, assuming the tag system gets major improvements in terms of using tag structures, selecting tags, and manipulating tags. There are other feature requests that describe this.
However, where I could see real value wouldn't be project folders, but rather Obsidian's concept of different vaults. It could make sense for users who have multiple hobbies or want to separate personal and work stuff, so you'd have different vaults that are completely independent from each other in terms of collecting information and AI chat functions. This would also benefit Recall since the context wouldn't be unnecessarily larger than needed.

Would a tag not be sufficient to serve as a project name? I have a tag named !working, for articles I'm currently enriching, that sort of acts as a project. It sorts right at the top and of course I could have sub tags/projects.
