Upload other types of documents besides PDF: support for docx, txt, pptx

In theory it would be possible to convert the files in pdf and then upload them in recall as pdf files, but it'd be clearly straighter and more logical to upload these files in the native extension. Moreover, i think that slides of presentations (powerpoint) and spreadsheets (Excel) should require a different processing: interpreting diagrams in slides, or interpreting and processing computations in a spreadsheet requires a different handling for a valuable "summary" of the document. In Excel there's the feature of pivot tables and charts, and Recall could produce sthg similar with AI.

I want to just add a powerpoint file or a word document and the entire thing is gonna be summarized.

I want to be able to store my own IP as part of this database, as it is fragmented across databases, companies, events, etc.
There does not seem to be an ability to add Microsoft documents to the database, and when adding a page in a browser extension, it cannot read them.
I do not want to have to go to the trouble of crystallising them as PDFs, as many of them are live and improving all the time. Ideally, you would create a Microsoft add-on.

Hi there, just a heads up that you can import Google Slides and Google Docs. Perhaps if you just convert them, you'll be able to import them into Recall.

Sankari Nair Good to know!

Agreed. Gets my vote. I'm brand new to Recall today, and barely getting my head around it. I write a bit of fiction, and have most of my stories in Google Docs. So, being able to import and analyze would be helpful.

Being able to upload ePUB documents without having to convert them to PDF would be fantastic.

We do support Google Docs & Slides as a possible workaround.

I just upload any MS docs into Google Docs, and ingest those...

I agree, I have a lot of word doc files in my computer knowledge base that I need to upload to Recall. This and eBooks and ePub files and to a lesser extent the ability to upload HTML, Spreadsheets and PowerPoints is my number one need.

I would really like to be able to upload HTML files as attachments which will open and run when clicked.
