Feature Requests

When on-the-go we just want to save something for later. We don't have time to wait 8 seconds for the AI sum up, make sure it's saved etc... We just want to share with recall and move on. Make the share to recall instantaneous (the rest can process later)

So I can read my summaries on a plane :)

Hi Recall AI team, I wanted to share a couple of feature suggestions that I think could improve the experience when chatting with a knowledge base on iPad/desktop. First, it would be great to have an option to toggle the knowledge base/source tags on and off. I attached a screenshot and circled the tags I’m referring to. While the tags can be helpful when you want to see where information is coming from, there are times when it would be nice to hide them for a cleaner, less cluttered chat experience. A simple toggle such as “Show/Hide source tags” or “Tag mode on/off” would be very useful. Second, at the bottom of each chat response, where the action buttons such as Copy, Paste, and Add to Notebook appear, it would be helpful to add a small speaker button for a Read Aloud feature. This would allow users to listen to the AI’s response directly within the chat. I think both features would give users more flexibility and improve the overall chat experience—especially the ability to switch between a detailed view with source tags and a cleaner, more streamlined view. Thanks for considering these suggestions.

It will be great if we can make VOICE NOTES, specially on mobile devices.

The Recall extension for subscribed content on the iphone (apps like the NY times) don't save the full article or generate a summary. It would be nice if it worked like the browser app.

When I try to upload research papers that I read, theres a problem uploading them (probably due to my browser, im not sure) so I copy and past the information into a note, however I always seem to run out of space. If notes capable of being a bit longer, like maybe 15-20 pages total, it would be amazing! I dont need to upload books lol,the research papers are usually not more than 5 pages but some of the more complex studies are longer.

It would be very handy to have a prominent button and a homescreen widget to quickly add content on the fly, mostly ideas and small notes, I can sort out later. Currently its seriously difficult to capture a quick typed notes on the mobile app (android atleast).

Being able to add quick notes, photos or even audio via a widget would be extremely helpful for the iOS app, sharing to recall is great but sometimes you just want to upload something quick you are thinking about. Also, being able to better customize your homepage like Notion for example would add a note keeping or even task keeping layer to this app which would grow its usage and fan base

On desktop, Recall extensions for browsers allow you to collect the content displayed after crossing the paywall or the captcha... Unfortunately, this is not possible on Mobile because only a URL link is shared with the mobile app, which cannot cross these obstacles... Proposed solutions: 1 - An integrated browser that gives the user the option to solve the captcha or connect to a paid account 2 - Port the Chrome extension to a browser that supports Chrominium extensions like Edge Canary

I currently journal via my iphone recording app and the info just stays there , un indexed and undiscoverable. This problem I would love to fix. thanks
