Sometimes the tags evolve and new tags/tagging structured is created. I'd like to have a way to force a re-tagging of multiple cards at once so that I don't have to manually re-evaluated the tagging of every single card

Creating new tags erroneously due to use of upper or lower case for same-named tags: For example I have a tag named AI which is the base for many Sub Tags, example: I have Tag AI with Sub Tag /LLMS and I mistype it as Ai/LLMS, upon which the App creates a forked tag so now I have two root tags - AI and Ai - which forces me to have to fix the incorrect one to merge both AI/LLMS and Ai/LLMS. Suggestion, ask user if they one to create a new tag named Ai, or if they want to use the existing one.

Recall does this sometimes, but it is not consistent and in my experience does not happen most of the time. It would be nice if this happened consistently so that every video that is saved automatically has a "YouTube | [Channel Name]" as one of the tags.

Option to apply “AND” logic (instead of the current “OR”) when filtering by tags. This would allow users to see results that match all of the selected tags, rather than retrieving items that contain any selected tag. This offers more precise control when narrowing down results, ensuring that only tightly relevant content is shown.

I would love to explain the automatic tagging to the AI. For example, I use the PARA method to organize everything, and the AI tries each time to create a new tag in my first A (Areas) part, where I like to keep only the most relevant areas I focus on. So I would like to it to create a new tags in R (Resources), which could be easily prompted, if that option would be here. Option to turn the auto-tagging off in favor of manual tagging, would also be helpfull in this situation. My current workflow if to delete the auto-tag every time and create my own (':

Example: Current existing tag is School/Math/Algebra/Week 1. If I wanted to create a new tag that goes one step further to include a particular lecture (lecture 3) I would have to click the "new tag" button, then literally type out from scratch School/Math/Algebra/Week 1/Lecture 3. That takes too long and requires too much effort. I would like to be able to select an existing tag path (School/Math/Algebra/Week 1) and only have to type out /Course 3 at the end of it. This would make creating tags much less of a nuisance in my opinion.

So far automatic card categorisation for Wikipedia articles has worked in a patchy at best: it applies the people tag to articles about people and the places tag to articles about places, but it leaves almost all of the rest untagged. It would be really helpful if Recall could exploit Wikipedia‘s own categorisarion to autotag more accurately.

When Im in a collection that is in a hierarchy of tagging, automatically add that tag to the new note I create while Im in that place.

I've looked in Settings and here in the Feature Requests and cannot find a way to show how many cards each tag has. I've created special tags such as "2. To Process" and "3. Today" to organize cards for additional processing and follow-up. I'd like to see at a glance how many cards are in those special tags.

Currently if you select multiple tags on home screen to filter cards, the logical relation between tags is OR. It will list all cards which contains ANY of the selected tags. It would be extremely useful if at least you could set AND relation between selected tags to list cards which contains ALL of the selected tags. For example currently if I select #AI_MUSIC and #OPENSOURCE tags, I can't see all OpenSource Music AI, as it will list all other Opensource ai models tagged with AI_IMAGE, AI_VIDEO, etc. as well.
